Job Responsibilities:
Greet customers, ascertain customer needs and provide advice in selecting merchandise. Prepare merchandise for selling floor. Responsible for timely store opening and closing and related procedures. Operate a computer/cash register and accurately handle monetary transactions. Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices Maintain merchandising stock and displays according to established guidelines. Maintain a clean working environment including running vacuum, washing shop windows, etc. as needed. Evaluate daily sales and provide sales tracking reports as needed. Participate in performing store inventories. Take steps to control shrinkage, i.e., loss of merchandise to theft. Perform other duties as required.
