This position will Support the VP of Investor Relations, Strategic Planning & Operations Analysis by directing and coordinating functions related to Investor Relations (earnings release, annual report, investor communications and conferences, etc.) and Strategic Planning and Financial Analysis (capital planning, competitor research, P&L analysis, internal communications, ad hoc modeling and analysis, etc.). This position will work closely with other members of the Investor Relations, Strategic Planning, Operations Analysis, and Accounting teams to coordinate planning and analysis projects while also interfacing with Wall Street analysts to maintain and grow the companys investor base and generate positive interest among new investors.
Direct and coordinate the quarterly earnings release process for Gaylord Entertainment, including but not limited to: writing scripts for the CEO, CFO, and COO to be used in the earnings release call with investors and analysts; formulating earnings release communications for public and SEC filing; working with the rest of the Planning organization to formulate forecasts to serve as the basis for guidance; deriving analyst consensus and building competitor performance comparisons to be used for benchmarking. Coordinate efforts to create and organize Analyst Day presentations, presentations for investor conferences and meetings, Board of Director communications (CEO letters to the Board, quarterly Financial Update presentations for the CFO, monthly Board packets, and ad hoc communications to the Board), and GLT, Partner Group, and Corporate GET Together presentations for the CFO. Direct and coordinate annual Strategic Planning processes and monthly analytical efforts related to capital planning and key capital expenditures. Represent Gaylord Entertainment while interfacing directly with Wall Street analysts and investors during calls, meetings, presentations, conferences, etc. to help ensure the appropriate interpretation of the companys financial information. Monitor and research the movement of Gaylord Entertainment equity prices on a daily basis. Perform additional ad hoc research, reporting, financial analysis, and modeling for key initiatives as appropriate to support the development of the companys strategic vision. Perform other duties as assigned. |
