Job Responsibilities:
Design, plan and coordinate plant material installation including annuals, perennials, ground covers, shrubs, trees, turf grass and tropical plants. Plant care includes planting, watering, cleaning, fertilizing, pruning and mulching. Inspect the gardens for damage by pests, physical damage and environmental conditions. Report problems to the appropriate supervisor. Assist with the research and selection of new plant materials. Install and maintain aquatic systems. Perform daily grounds maintenance including trash removal, removal of dead plants and area cleaning. Perform foliage bulb color replacements. Maintain and monitor irrigation systems and discuss changes in frequency or duration with the Supervisor. Perform special projects as required. Operate turf and landscape power equipment safely on a daily basis. May be required to install, maintain, and remove Christmas lights. Perform other duties as assigned.

| Education, training, experience: |
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience: Minimum of three years experience in landscaping or a horticulture related field required. Advanced knowledge of tropical plants required. Working knowledge of turf and horticulture equipment, planting, and pruning required. Strong communication skills required. Licenses/Certifications: Certified Landscape Technician preferred. Valid Driver's License and a satisfactory driving record required.
