The Corporate STAR Relations Manager will administer corporate STAR relations programs to establish and maintain the uniform and equitable application of the Companys policies and practices. Establish credibility with the Firms leadership and STARS through effective listening, proactive relationship building and creative problem-solving.
Proactively build relationships with Corporate business units, and other business units to be able to provide advice and consultation to all levels of leaders and STARS on issues pertaining to building STAR engagement and loyalty (including but not limited to counseling and disciplinary issues, STAR morale and policy interpretation). Conduct investigations and recommend solutions regarding STAR complaints, allegations, STAR misconduct, and concerns. Consult with in-house or outside attorney(s) to prevent risk to the company. Coach Leaders on the appropriate and corrective actions necessary to improve ineffective behaviors and performances. Provide coaching/counseling assistance to employees. Maintain good communication and a positive relationship with STARS and all management levels, promoting STAR satisfaction. Stay abreast of changes in laws, regulations, policies, and programs relevant to human resources and employment practices. Coordinate exit interviews and grievance procedures. Influence positive change and demonstrate leadership that supports the service/profit chain and the company culture. Perform other duties as assigned. |

| Education, training, experience: |
Education:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a human resources-related field. Experience:Minimum of 5 years in employee relations. Demonstrated knowledge of employment law and human resources policies & procedures. Must be able to work effectively with others, be innovative and collaborative, possess good judgment and be responsive to change; must possess excellent oral and verbal skills, as well as effective interpersonal skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, and Excel. Exposure to human resources information systems preferred. |
